Special Lecture-Forum - Sumatra Earthquake and Tsunami
From time to time the Office of the Provost offers a lecture-forum
intended to draw on the University of Arizona's faculty expertise to
help inform the university community about truly extraordinary
contemporary events, discoveries, or issues that have international
dimensions and consequences. It is in this context that I announce a
special lecture-forum on the Sumatra Earthquake and Tsunami. The
program features faculty presentations followed by short question and
answer periods.
