TEGUHKAN "TIANG"MU JIKA TIDAK MAHU "RUMAH"MU ROBOH

Bismillah..
Assalamu'alaykum wbt..

Alhamdulillah..I'm still able to write something here..Haven't blogged for quite amount of time..But anyway, one of our daily issue for today - Solat. Since we covered this topic for our last Usrah, so I wanna share it with the rest of you here. I know, everybody know about Solat..one of our five pillars being a muslim.Actually we covered the third hadeeth from the 40 hadeeth which is about The five pillars of Islam, but for now, I wanna talk about Solat. First lemme begin with this third hadeeth that I've mentioned.

On the authority of Abu 'Abd al-Rahman 'Abdullah bin 'Umar bin al-Khattab, radiyallahu 'anhuma, who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu 'alayhi wasallam, say: "Islam has been built upon five things - on testifying that there is no god save Allah, and that Muhammad is His Messenger; on performing salah; on giving the zakah; on Hajj to the House; and on fasting during Ramadhan." [Al-Bukhari & Muslim]

Some of us might think that.. "ala..isu ni, seme orang pon dah tau.." yup, because of everybody already knew about it, I wanna share this issue here. Well, nothing much I wanna say here, just wanna show clearly the order from Allah that we have to perform Solat. These are some of the ayatullah about Solat..there are a lot more. And insyaAllah these will benefit all of us.

"When ye pass (congregational) prayers, celebrate Allah's praises, standing, sitting down, or lying down on your sides; but when ye are free from danger, set up regular prayers: for such prayers are enjoined on Believers at stated times. [An-Nisaa:103]

So establish regular Prayer and give regular Charity; and obey the Messenger; that ye may receive mercy.[An-Nuur:56]

Allah did aforetime take a Covenant, from the children of Israel, and We appointed twelve captains among them. And Allah said: "I am with you: if ye (but) establish regular Prayers, practise regular Charity, believe in My Messengers, honour and assist them, and loan to Allah a beautiful loan, verily I will wipe out from you your evils, and admit you to Gardens with rivers flowing beneath; but if any of you, after this, resisteth faith, he hath truly wandered from the path of rectitude. [Al-Maaidah:12]

And strive in His cause as ye ought to strive, (with sincerity and under discipline). He has chosen you, and has imposed no difficulties on you in religion; it is the cult of your father Ibrahim. It is He Who has named you Muslims, both before and in this (Revelation); that the Messenger may be a witness for you, and ye be witnesses for mankind! So establish regular Prayer, give regular Charity, and hold fast to Allah! He is your Protector, the best to protect and the Best to help! [Al-Hajj:78]

But (even so), if they repent, establish regular prayers, and practise regular charity, they are your brethren in Faith: (thus) do We explain the Signs in detail, for those who understand. [At-Taubah:11]

Here is some of the sharah of the hadeeth that I stated previously.

Establishing the Prayers (Solat)
Some interpretations of this hadith translate "iqamatus salah" as 'performing' the salah. "Iqamatus salah" is a broader concept than what the term 'performing' means. The Scholars say "iqamatus salah" implies:

* Doing the wudu in the proper way
* To do the solat in its time
* To do it in congregation (jama'ah) - where the reward is 27 times than praying alone
* To fulfill the six conditions of salah
* To observe the proper manners (adab) of doing it such as submission and humility
* To follow preferable actions (sunnan) in our salah

It is important that we follow these conditions and not violate them if we want to truly fulfill the second pillar of Islam i.e. "iqamatus salah". We should remember that Allah initially commanded us to pray fifty times a day and it was eventually reduced to five times (with the reward of fifty) - the prayer times are very reasonably spread out throughout the day - it can even help us to manage our time - it can help us to manage our affairs, allowing the Muslim community to meet during congregation and care for and help each other which will lead in turn to solidarity. Thus, the prayers should not be seen as a burden as some Muslims might regard them today.

Some people just make it "easy". What easy? Not "easy" as in perform the Solat without feeling it as a burden, do it because of Allah..do it at the time what we've been ordered to do so, do it for the sake of Allah as we are all His servants that we need to be thankful for all the ni'mat that we have..NO..not that kind of "easy"..but they make it "easy" by doing it as a burden, frequently, part timely, sometimes, seldom..or not at all. Astaghfirullah..I first remind myself here and my friends and everybody who read this..Owh..we don't know when is our 'time'. It might be after this, tomorrow, this Sunday..when? Wallahu a'lam..Just be prepare for it insyaAllah.

O Allah, remove my sins from me as You have removed the east from the west. O Allah! purify me from sins as a white garment is purified from filth. O Allah! wash away my sins with water, snow and hail."

"O Allah, forgive my faults, my ignorance, my immoderation in my concerns, and whatever You are better aware (of my affairs) than myself. O Allah, grant me forgiveness (of the faults which I committed) seriously or otherwise, and which I committed inadvertently and deliberately. All these (failings) are in me. O Allah, grant me forgiveness from the fault which I did in haste or deferred, which I committed in privacy or in public and whatever You are better aware of (them) than myself. You are the Advancer and the Retarder and over all things You are Omnipotent."

Ameen..
