TAZKIYATUN-NAFS

Alhamdulillah, I managed to listen to one of the parts. InsyaAllah I'll be sharing the notes that I have from it. InsyaAllah it will give us some benefits to apply in our life on His Path.

PURIFICATION OF THE SOUL by Imam Mokhtar Al-Maghraoui [PART 1]

- Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu 'alayhi Wasallam is the best model ever for us.

- We cannot serve to Allah in JAHIL (darkness). We know nothing. That's why Rasulullah Sallallahu 'alayhi Wasallam is sent to us to be as a mission to spread the 'ilm & perform tazkiyah of the heart.

- Heart has to be purify from contaminant/pollution in order to be on the way of nearness to Allah.

- Our QALB needs to be TAAHIR (purity).

-'Ilm & tazkiyah must always be together.

-Our Qalb/Heart is a mirror that will display the image outside, that will reflect a broken image if it is not properly polished that make it broken. For example image of relationships:

1] Relationship between Creator and creature.
2] Moral relationship (among creatures)

- Don't be in the state of excessive attach to other things such as wealth, laxful stuff.

- Don't follow any oblivious person

- Any reason is what our heart about and make sure the journey of heart has always to be on the right path.

- We are created by Allah to fulfill the 'ubudiyyah & 'ubudiyyah cannot be achieved without 'ilm & tazkiya.

- Prior to that, we have to find sometime for khalwah because khalwah in the process of tazkiyah is important:

1] in order to have privacy
2] no distractions.
3] niyyah - what khalwah is for
- inner burst in our self (i.e: love, fear, longing)
4] state of ourselves - keep away the evil of ourselves.
