LAST DAY OF WORKING...

Assalamu'alaykum warahmatullah..
Alhamdulillah, akhirnya tiba juga saat ini.. hari terakhir aku bekerja di Library Univ of Arizona ini. Harini ini sahaja kerja from 8AM until 11PM, had a quick break 2-3PM. Hari paling lama kerja dalam sejarah ni. Tonight all my shifs are at Science Library, not that bad, alhamdulillah. Now, working at reference desk. Alhamdulillah tak ramai customers malam ni, iyalah tinggal yg masih ada final tomorrow/paper due on the last day of final.

Ealier today about 3-5PM, was also my shift at this reference desk. I was here with a new staff and she haven't been trained for Science Library. And she was saying to me, hope there's nothing weird going on today.. I was just smiling at her. A couple minutes later, we saw a policeman came and he was talking to this Chinese lady. Rupanya kakak tu called dia and saying that this one guy had harrased her earlier. waduhh2..pastu ada lah shelvers ni cakap kakak tu mmg macam tu, bnyk kali dia cakap menda macam tu tapi tak pernah pula ada orang nampak dia kena camtu..tapi wallahu a'lam. At the same time I was thinking that, people think that she's crazy, but who knows, something hard had happened to her long time ago and she still can't get rid of it? owh, it's hard to guess..

Anyway, a while after, the police left. Then I just realized that I was not supposed to be working at Science Library's reference desk. I was supposed to be at Main Library for that hours. But the staff had me to stay here since she got somebody to cover at Main Library, alhamdulillah.Therefore, I did not have to go outside the building in that windy+freezing weather.

Keje kat Reference/Info Desk ni, kena alert dgn semua menda yg berlaku dalam library ni, alarm gate, emergency exit door, suspicious acitivities, weird customers and what not..huhu..macam2 ada..tapi alhamdulillah, banyak timba pengalaman. Since these days been really cold, so I always have my sweater with me. Pastu kita dah pakai tudung ni kan, ada orang yg tak terdedah sangat pasal agama ni tanye, are you dress up for the weather?ehe..just senyum jerla..pastu sambil2 customers kuar masuk main entrance ni, ada skali skali terdengar they were talking about me..see, she's cold too and really ready for the weather. Macam gi Econs Club haritu, ada sorang pakcik ni cakap, your veil (hijab kita lah ni) is really convenient to you and it's good for this weather... so saya pun iyakan jerla..ehe..see hikmah pakai tudung ni..ehe..

Back to what happened today, waduuhh..pening den, hari last keje macam2 hal jadi.. about 450PM, ada sorang faculty member dari department mane tah, report ada a white bucket near the computers section. It was quite suspicious though even it was just a bucket since it has some types of wires coming out of it. So they suspected that might be a chemical stuff assuming that somebody wanted to put a bomb in this building..aduuhh..then that faculty member called the police. Again!! But it was quite surprise because the police got here in two minutes..ramai plak tu datang, dgn badan2 khas dia skali tu...so we had to evacuate the building..ramai juga orang masa tu sbb siang2 lagi..and it was freezing outside.. and it was funny when people kept asking me what had happened. They asked me because I still had my staff tag on my jacket. I should have taken that out..hihi..malas nak menjawab sebenarnya..Then, about 20 minutes, we could get back to work..cuak gaklah..alhamdulillah, nothing bad happened at that time..

Basically, that was my day today, as for now, about 10PM, I still have one more hour to go. InsyaAllah I'm going to call safe ride to go to my dorm tonight..takut maa, walaupun dekat, gelap ni..dahla campus semakin lengang since ramai gaklah dah balik..lagipun kak teh dah kena kuar bilik semalam sbb we have to get out from the dorm 24 hours after we done with finals. I was supposed to move on Tuesday since I finished my finals on Monday but since I'm graduating this semester, that rule does not apply to me..alhamdulillah.. lagipun ada lagi barang tak abis kemas tu sket2..

Esok, kena do check out process with my Resident Assistant, and have to take all my stuff to a friends' house, I have to stay with them about two weeks before I leave to Malaysia. Hope my graduation ceremony tomorrow will be going well. Make du'aa for me everything will be ok and smooth..I have to stop now, since the customers start walking out leaving the building..ada lah gedek2 nak kena settle ni..ehe..all the best to y'all.
